TheatreDanz is an opportunity for serious students who are interested in additional performance opportunities, as well as participation in workshops & theatre/dance show trips!  Dancers must audition every year, and company placement is by ability, not age. 

• *Dancers must audition every year. Placement is by technique level only – not age.
• *Dancers must participate in Summer Dance 2023 at PAI. (see below)
• *Dancers must be available to rehearse on Saturdays. (Some Fridays/Sundays will also be scheduled).
• *Dancers must keep excellent attendance in their classes and company rehearsals. Attendance policies will be specifically outlined,
• and STRICTLY ENFORCED.
• *Schedule conflicts with sport teams cannot be accommodated. Company classes, rehearsals & events must be priority.
• *Company jacket required. Approx one-time cost: $$75. - $85.
• *Attend Dance Convention weekend w/ Company. Dates TBA. Approx tuition cost: $295-325.
• *Attend & dance in Competition weekend w/ Company. Dates TBA. Approx cost per dance: $75. - $90. fees.
• *Company dancers may not train elsewhere without permission.
• * All company dancers need BEIGE and BLACK ‘no lace’ jazz shoes. Senior Co may require BEIGE heels as well.

Summer Dance:

 Company members must participate in summer dance at PAI.

Minimum: Two dance classes or

Broadway Bound/ SMTI, jr /SMTI & one dance class.

Sept Boot Camp: Fri Sept 8 th AND Sat Sept 9 th : Cost $75.

• 1. Dancers must have danced with PAI in the past season.
• 2. Dancers should be entering 3 rd grade or above, and must have taken Ballet A or above.
• 3. Dancers entering 2 nd grade, who have completed 2 years of Ballet A are eligible.
• 4. All dancers should dress for ballet class. (Ladies: hair in a bun) Ballet shoes for ballet combination. Leggings may be worn
• for jazz combination with jazz shoes.
• 5. All dancers must email a short (2-4 paragraphs) essay on ‘WHY I WANT TO BE IN COMPANY’.

The studio does not run fundraisers, but many parents do. Periodic parent fundraising meetings occur.

Fundraising is NOT REQUIRED, but many families take advantage of opportunities. Fundraising may be used to pay for conventions and competitions.
